The Experience
Set in 25 hectares of land dotted with olives, country views stretching all around and nothing but birdsong and cicadas to disturb the silence, you’ll slip into a feeling of supreme relaxation the moment you arrive. En suite bedrooms all have gorgeous linens and art; the master is reached from the garden for extra privacy, some in the main house share a balcony and there’s a separate annexe for teens or grandparents.
Beyond the fragrantly scented, manicured garden is a huge pool to keep the kids happily splashing; sneak out for early morning laps before the crowds descend. Completely geared up for outdoor living, there’s a pool house and comfy seating areas, some shaded, some to catch rays, with all the kit for barbecues and a country-style kitchen for everyone to help with the prep.
Drive ten minutes to Cala en Porter beach, discover ancient talayotic remains, traverse the Camí de Cavalls route spotting birds and wildlife.

Location
The neighbourhood
The nearest small town, Alaior, is a five-minute drive for shops and cafés. Cala en Porter is a ten-minute drive for more choice and the famous Cova d'en Xoroi bar, built into caves in the cliffs overlooking the sea. Further afield is pretty Fornells on the north coast, famed for its lobster bisque. Rent boats to discover hidden coves and secret beaches, kayak, snorkel, dive, enjoy scenic walks.
Local points of interest from Dorothée De Panisse
- The countryside by the sea: a peaceful retreat on countryside, just few kms from the beautiful cliffs of Menorca
- The heart of archeological Menorca: in Torralba you will find rare birds, coves, old Arabic wells, old dry stone walls, giant cacti.
- In Aliaor, time has stopped: go to the night and local products market in Aliaor, take a coffee or a beer by the shadow of the old chuch of Santa Eulalia.
- Rent a boat with or without licence in the typical port of Fornells, to discover the hidden beaches of Pregonda, before sharing an arroz negro at the chiringuito of Binimella beach.
- Menorca is now on the international map for contemporary art. Take a boat trip to Isla del Rey by sunset, to visit the new exhibit of Hauser and Wirth, before having dinner in the Isla. You should also enjoy the wonderful Loac in Aliaor.
- Rent a kayak in Es Grau or in Cala del Porter to discover sunsets by the sea.

Introducing
Dorothée De Panisse
Dorothée and Jean live in Paris and spend their holidays in Menorca. Property manager Natalia welcomes guests and arranges your welcome hamper. You'll find an information book inside the house with ideas for places to visit and good local restaurants as well as instructions about the air conditioning and other facilities.
A stunning former farmhouse sympathetically restored in 2019 by a Parisien family. The huge gardens and pool area are elegantly landscaped, it's hard to describe just how beautiful the entire external space is. The 20 metre long swimming pool, surrounded by greenery is outstanding , we also enjoyed the boules area. The setting is so relaxing you won't want to leave and the interior is super stylish. Owner Dorothee was very helpful and a pleasure to communicate with. A 10/10 from our family.
