The Experience
The conversion of this old mill has been accomplished with local expertise, smooth plastering and planked floors adding to the immaculate furnishings and the stylish feel – a change from the more usual beam and terracotta. Each lovely suite has an open fire for cosy winter stays; Indonesian beds, muslin drapes, lamps, chairs and tables add a touch of exotica. Bathrooms are generous.
An honesty bar, books and a vast collection of CDs add to the relaxed and laid-back feel. The focus is poolwards; beyond, groves of olives and the changing colours of the mountains – a lovely backdrop to your sundowner. Breakfast is continental: croissants, breads, hams, cheeses and yogurts – you won’t go hungry. If you opt for half board you get dinner too. Feast on Mediterranean dishes prepared principally from their organic orchard, and matched by fabulous Andalusian wines.
Yoga, Pilates, massages, cycling, walking and wine tours can be arranged.

A sublime hotel which is a tranquil oasis from the hustle and bustle of Ronda. The food was excellent and we particularly enjoyed the bedroom terrace. Well run and friendly.

This was the perfect location to relax as well as a great base to explore Ronda and the other hill towns. The hosts were friendly and assisted us as needed. We were able to be as social or a private as we wished. The rooms were well appointed. The food and wine offered for breakfast and dinner were amazing. The chef kept us returning for dinner each night. We loved our stay and will certainly return.

Location
The neighbourhood
Ask the hotel for a packed lunch and set off for stunning walks surrounded by nature and much wildlife - it's quiet here in the mountains. Ronda is a 10-minute drive and it will take you more than a day to discover all its charms. The old Arab Medina is fascinating, cross the Puente Nuevo and wander around the Alameda del Tajo, also steeped in history and legend. Best to take an organised tour.

Introducing
Pom & Christina Piek
The Ronda mountains wrapped Christina and Pom in its spell and they realised their dream: a blissful retreat encircled by olive groves, ten minutes out of town. Christina is the 'spark', a charming woman who has decorated the area's first boutique hotel with cool, understated elegance. Pom is born to the role of host: a raconteur by nature and a connoisseur of wine.
Perfection! The most wonderful place to stay! (Found on Sawdays after leaving an unpleasant hotel we had booked in Jerez). Owner- Pablo - and staff could not have been kinder or more welcoming. Suite was just beautiful - so comfortable and warm with fantastic views across the valley from every window. We arrived on a sunny day and enjoyed lazing on our own terrace. Dinner was delicious in delightful dining room with low background music and happy chatter of fellow guests. We only wish we could have stayed longer but they were fully booked for weekend. We will be back. It's an absolute gem
