The Experience

Green lawns are dotted with rosemary and lavender, the only neighbours are few faraway farmhouses, the only sounds birdsong and the occasional tractor. You can walk for hours through olive groves and wooded hills and still be on the owners’ family estate.

Warm weathered stone, wooden shutters and whitewashed walls are true to the building’s rustic past, albeit with brand new beds, comfy sofas and family antiques. Each apartment has its own kitchen – find olive oil, coffee and a bottle of local wine. If you take the whole place there’s a large shared kitchen and room for everyone to eat together under the pergola.

Stroll through the charming village centre and bask in the quiet and solitude. Summer is for relaxing by the pool, long lunches and touring the local cantinas; come October the olives are harvested to make organic olive oil and late Autumn brings truffles and wild boar.

Reviews

This is an excellent economic property and the right choice for a group of friends who like the idea of renting a farmhouse, but with the advantage of separate apartments and increased privacy. Immersed in the typical lush Umbrian countryside, guests have a wide choice of activities in the immediate area where overtourism has no place.

Introducing

Ginevra Brandizzi

Owner Ginevra’s family have farmed the 300 hectare estate for three generations, specialising in organic olive oil. Her house is nearby, beyond the oak wood up on the hill. She will be pleased to advise on the local area, but otherwise leaves guests to enjoy the farmhouse in peace.
