Perfect place!!

Fantastic and really authentic place to stay.

The weekend which I spent at the Convento with a large group of friends was idyllic, helped by perfect weather. The apartments are full of individual character but extremely comfortable and have everything you need. The terrace and grounds are spacious and inviting and the view is stunning. Antonietta is an ideal host and arranged wonderful meals for us by local caterers. There is plenty to see within easy reach but you do need a car.

This is one of those rare places that we would put on our list of "places to go back to"! Totally relaxing, totally peaceful, beautiful property in a beautiful part of Italy. We had lots planned but did very little .. there was no need to leave this gorgeous property. Nothing was too much trouble for Antoinetta and we got to meet the owners too and the gorgeous Stella! Really really happy to post a big Thumbs Up about this place. Cant be beaten.

A magical place to stay. Beautiful accommodation in stunning surroundings. Authentic Italian cookery lessons, fascinating visit to a bee keeper and alpaca farm, a tasty local breakfast every morning and a 'Dinner Under the Stars,' all arranged by the wonderful Antonietta, who is a wealth of information and is at the convent every day to offer friendly help and advice on all matters including places to eat and visit. Our apartment was clean, comfortable and spacious with amazing views. And our children loved the swimming pool. Friendly accommodating owners and beautiful places nearby.

Wonderful place! The area felt very unspoilt and driving up to the convent we couldn't believe our luck- hay bales in fields on either side of the road, wild flowers and butterflies. The old convent was beautiful- surrounded by lavender and rosemary, with a large terrace with tables to eat on and a gorgeous pool with views over the Umbrian hills. The apartment was clean and prettily decorated and Antonietta could not have been more helpful and kind. We made easy daytrips to Assisi, Lake Trasimeno Gubbio but it was hard to tear ourselves away from the peace of the place. Just magic.
