The Experience

Discover a slower, more natural way of life with this generous, well-travelled family on their organic olive and wine farm just east of Siena. Gather groups in The Tower and old Lemon House; there’s space to cook up feasts for meals indoors and out or ask Elisa and Gianni if you can sample some of their delicious food.

Order a traditional Tuscan dinner made with vegetables from the garden and wines from the vineyards. Breakfast can be delivered to your door too – fresh bread, homemade cake and yogurt, jams and marmalades from fruit in the orchard.

Unwind here: relax on the terrace, read a book in the canopy bed, soak in the hot tub, try your hand at yoga, organise a massage or join a cookery class. Siena is a short bike ride or bus trip away – explore the historic centre; have an aperitif on a private terrace with views over the piazza.

Reviews

Sinking into a hot tub neatly tucked into a grassy patch under a medieval tower is alone a unique experience, but doing so while sipping some Santa 10 organic wine and enjoying a view of Siena's skyline makes it even more special. Getting to know Elisa and Gianni, how they restored the place, make wine and bring up children in such an enchanting setting, is a delightful addition to a stay here.
