The Experience

The owners have made these suites as environmentally friendly as possible so you won’t see any plastics and all electricity comes from the solar panels – you can charge your electric car too. Each suite, comfortable and modern, has its own entrance and terrace or balcony and the peace is profound – you’re utterly surrounded by nature. You also have your own seating area with a coffee machine, kettle and small fridge.

Communal areas include the large terrace with tables and chairs, the infinity pool and the highly beamed dining room where you are served breakfast. Tuck into homemade cakes and Tuscan cheeses before heading out for walks or slumping around the pool. Lunches and dinners of traditional Tuscan food can be booked every day, washed down with the estate wine.

Many extras can be arranged: wine tasting, cookery classes, massage, trekking, bike hire or horse riding.

Reviews

We spent 6 wonderful days. The buildings are stylishly restored. Staff was very warm and welcoming. The spacious suite was tastefully and comfortable equipped. Large private terrace, beautifully landscaped garden and super infinity pool. Delicious food in the stylishly furnished restaurant, extraordinary good wins from the in-house winery.Highly recommended.

Michael, Freiburg

Very relaxing, top service, nice rooms, wonderful area in beautiful nature.

Yvonne, Area of Zurich

For a couple wanting to relax, requiring comfort, good service, quiet sophistication and not wanting to move around a lot, this is an excellent choice of place to stay.

Location

The neighbourhood

The drive up is 2km long so you will feel nicely isolated. In the surrounding fields there are vines, rotation crops and some olives which provide ever-changing colours through the seasons. The nearest small town is Sasso d'Ombrone, with a little grocer shop and a bar but no restaurant. Paganico, an ancient fortified town, is 10km and has good architecture, churches, restaurants and shops.

Introducing

Caterina Sincini

The family, originally from Marche region, bought the Tenuta in 2000 and completely renovated it. You are looked after by friendly Alessia, who lives on site and handles all reception duties. She is also the 'go-to' person if you would like to organise any activities.
