This serene apartment is the perfect balance between ancient and modern, from the well-preserved patterned floor tiles to contemporary furniture designed by your hosts, and all has been put together with the aim of pampering body and soul.

Breakfast is delivered to your room: scrambled eggs, a plate of ham and Sicilian cheese, pastries and local bread, served with high-quality jam, honey and butter. You can make your own espresso or tea and there are biscuits to nibble on, and sleek bathrooms featuring the latest in spa technology, including hydro-showers and jacuzzi tubs.

You will find either Francesco or Giorgio at reception and they are  generous with local tips and recommendations – some of their favourites are Locale, a colourful restaurant and cocktail bar just three minutes’ walk, and Lo Scuderia, a well-known traditional trattoria a five-minute walk. Francesco also offers shiatsu sessions or yoga lessons on request.
