My son and I had a lovely week's stay at this wonderful hotel. It was a real pleasure to be ensconced in the very pretty village and to appreciate the lovely view from our room of the courtyard filled with flowers and a persimmon tree. Breakfasts were very good and the 5 course dinners were excellent, as were the cocktails. We are vegetarian and we were provided with an alternative main course. A very special place for those who appreciate authenticity and good food.

Wow pretty fabulous. Lovely small medieval town, gorgeous sensitively restored palazzo, perfect al fresco dining courtyard in which to enjoy their extraordinary breakfast banquets and hosts as charming, knowledgeable and helpful as you could hope for. Thank you Lucilla and Gabriella!

What remains in my memory is the perfumed air upon stepping into the front courtyard, a secret garden laden with rose and jasmine vines, the warm welcome and soft smiles of our hostesses, and the delectable meals so carefully created to surprise the palate. A stay here is a jump into the past, witnessing and participating in the hostess' fierce mission to maintain the values, strong traditions and identity of the island's interior land. An authentic and educational experience.
