Villa San Pietro Bed & Breakfast

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay at Via San Pietro in Montichiari Italy. Our hosts, Anna, Jacques and Alex were very pleasant and accommodating.

Enjoyed our stay very much! Anna, Jacques, and Alex were wonderful hosts who took care of our every need. Loved the history of the villa and its convenient location to the market square. The villa and garden area is beautiful and very inviting. We plan to visit again.

Anna and Jacques were amazing hosts. They gave us recommendations if we wanted to go out on our own but were amazing tour guides if we wanted a guided day. The villa was so comfortable and had privacy if we wanted or interaction. You choose. All in all this was the perfect place to experience this part of Italy.

My husband and I spent three days with Anna & Jacques last fall. We enjoyed every minute of it! I wholeheartedly recommend the tours, wine pairings, cooking classes and hanging out with this special couple in their peaceful garden!

I had a wonderful stay of at Villa San Pietro. I did 2 cooking classes with Anna and a visit of surrounding villages with her and her husband Jacques. Anna is an excellent cooking teacher and it was great to share the meal with them, as if I was a family member. Perfect for a solo traveler! The B&B is beautiful: a historic house with a garden, in the middle of a cute non-touristic village. Highly recommended for those who are looking for a different touristic experience.

My daughter and I spent a month in Italy. We started off our trip at Villa San Pedro. This was the absolute perfect start to our trip as it had been years since I had been to Italy and it was my daughters first time overseas! Anna and Jacques were amazing and such lovely hosts. The booking process was very easy and the communication was great. We did a cooking class and two tours! They also picked us up and dropped us off at the train station. We spent some time exploring their wonderful town and Lake Garda. Both very knowledgeable about the area and history. Highly recommend!

Staying with Anna and her family in Montichiari was a dream. The property has deep history and the setting is a quiet beautiful oasis in the centre of the town. Anna’s cooking classes enabled us to make traditional authentic Italian food which we then enjoyed together in the evenings. Anna guided us to places to visit during our stay and the whole experience was exceptional and unforgettable.

My husband and I stayed at Villa San Pietro for four nights and five fun-filled days. The Villa is historic and is beautifully decorated and furnished, the accommodations very clean and comfortable, and best of all, Anna and Jacques are fabulous hosts. I did a cooking class (yummy results!), cheese and wine tasting, and some tours. The tours were amazing, most enjoyable, and gives one a greater appreciation of the beauty and history of the area. I highly recommend staying at Villa San Pietro - you will arrive as a guest of Anna and Jacques and leave as a friend.

My wife discovered Villa San Pietro B&B through Anna’s Facebook page and booked us a week-long stay for September 2023. Although she wasn’t able to join me in the end, I went—and now I can’t wait to bring her back. From the moment I arrived, Anna and Jacques made me feel completely at home. They are truly exceptional hosts. One day, Anna and I spent time cooking together, which was such a special experience. Jacques took me on a few incredible bike rides and even lent me his bike so I could explore on my own. The property is peaceful and serene. You will never regret the decision.

A wonderful holiday in Montichiari by Anna, Alex & Jacques! It was my second time in her house and it will be not the last time! I miss you, the house, Italia and il gelato by Mozart 😀

You will arrive as guests but leave as family. Take full advantage of what's on offer from cooking classes, to wine and food pairing, to personal guided day trips off the beaten track. Bike tours for all levels (bikes provided) or just sit, read and relax in the beautiful gardens. An ice cream or an aperitivo in the main square is only 2-min walk away. Enjoy this truly Italian experience.

We had such a lovely time at Anna and Jacques' Bed and Breakfast, that we are planning another trip in September this year. They work very hard to make guests feel like they are friends coming for a visit, and not just customers.

We just returned from an eight night stay at this wonderful B&B. Part of a 500 year old convent, the building is full of beautiful old details but has been lovingly modernized to make it very comfortable. Especially comfortable are the many outdoor places to sit and enjoy morning coffee or an evening aperitif. It is also conveniently located to get around the Lombardy region. The best thing about the B&B though, are it's hosts, Anna and Jacques. They go out of their way to make your stay special, offering wine tastings, cooking classes, and guided tours to nearby sites. Our stay was perfect.

This was our 4th visit. If you are looking for somewhere unique , authentic Italian experience, wonderful generous hosts then this is for you. Can’t recommend highly enough. The rooms are beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable. Lots of experiences on offer, cooking classes, bike rides, guided tours, wine tasting. All superb experiences. We renewed our vows here and Anna & Jacques ensured everything was perfect. What a great day. Above all else Anna & Jacques make your stay very special.

I stayed with Anna and Jaques the first time I had ever travelled on my own. What a brilliant choice. I had expected a cookery course and a normal B&B. This was so far from the truth. I was treated like family to wonderful evening meals as well as breakfast. In addition I was given lifts to wherever I wanted to go and advice as to sights. It was a brilliant stay and I'm hoping to go back next year.

Anna and Jaques made us very welcome and our few nights stay was a great end to our holiday, they really know how to host a B&B well. They provided us with good balance of family welcome and privacy. We had a delicious meal with them the night of our arrival cooked by Anna from her family recipes, and our trip to Patrizia's winery with them on our last evening was both fascinating and enjoyable. And thanks Jaques for the great breakfasts.
