The Experience
Built as The Manse for the Presbyterian Church and still standing, although the church is not. This used to be a B&B so you get two sitting rooms and all the bedrooms are en suite. There are timber floors throughout, art from local artists on the walls and a useful utility room plus extra shower and loo downstairs. Cooks will love working in the kitchen – very professional looking with stainless steel tops, a huge table and two fridges. From here you can go straight into the garden.
There are thoughtful, generous touches like Handmade Soap Company soaps and shampoos, logs for the burner, duck down duvets and pillows, a generous basket of local food, sourdough bread from the bakery and all the basics for cooking. You can stock up in town on foot.
You’re just a two-minute walk from coffee shops, boutiques, pubs and restaurants and there are five good beaches nearby. Bring bikes and join The Great Western Greenway in two minutes.

Introducing
Paul & Linda Turner
Paul grew up in the area and his mother used to run the house as a B&B. Linda and Paul then took it over for a while with their three young children. Linda trained as a lawyer but now her interests are in gardening and interior design. They both used to travel a lot and love meeting people. When they ran the B&B they felt that the wider world was coming to them. They live a couple of minutes away.
A lovely big old house in a really interesting place to visit. Walks, cycles, boating, fishing, shopping - all is near and you have a roomy, very comfortable base to return to.
