Offers for a renewable future, from Good Energy
All these offers are exclusive to Sawday’s owners. Obviously, installation of a new heating system is more complex than switching suppliers, but the Good Energy team are on hand to talk through your specific requirements and which system is best for you. Their heat pump and solar panel systems are designed bespoke for their customers, avoiding the inefficiencies of off–the–shelf systems offered by other providers.

Good Energy Tariffs
Good Energy freely admit that their tariffs are higher than some of the other big providers. This is due to their unswerving dedication to sourcing power only from a carefully chosen community of independent generators using sun, wind, water and biogeneration to supply electricity. They also match every kWh you use at home over the course of a year, as opposed to other renewable energy suppliers who use a certificate called a REGO to enable them to claim to be 100% renewable.
Because the way they buy power has been recognised as genuinely supporting the growth of renewable energy generation, their Standard Variable tariff is exempt from Ofgem’s Energy Price Cap, enabling them to do more to invest in new sources and raise the percentage of the grid supply that comes from renewables.
Alongside the Standard Variable Tariff they also have a fixed EV tariff and an export tariff called Solar Savings, where customers with solar panels can sell back the electricity they don’t use. At time of writing (Sep 24) the export tariff is 15p for every kWh. With the average household only using around 50% of their solar power, this could mean earning £240 a year. There’s also an exclusive rate for customers for whom they install the solar panels and battery, of 40p/kWh one of the highest rates available in the market.
