The Farmhouse

I recently returned from a five-day break at The Farmhouse, and found it a superb, five-star experience in every way. Both the property, and its setting in Morzine, are quite wonderful, and the quality of hospitality simply could not be bettered. The entire staff were all wonderfully helpful; the bedrooms beautifully appointed, and the reception and dining rooms atmospheric, and full of charm. This was quite simply one of the most pleasurable holidays I have ever experienced. My warm thanks to all the team for making the trip so special.

We have just had the absolute pleasure of attending our best friends wedding at the most beautiful venue in Morzine. We can not rate this venue highly enough to do them justice! James, Dorian, Sam, Mark , Ben and the rest of the team went over and above to make sure our stay was exceptional. A stay at the Farmhouse is truly one of life’s greatest pleasures! It will forever be one of the best skiing experiences I’ve had. The staff are genuinely focused on your needs and they make you feel like taking care of guests is their joy. I will definitely be back!

The Farmhouse is a fabulous place and James, Dorrien and Di are super, warm hosts. The whole place, from bedrooms to bar to living room, is comfy, cosy and relaxed. A perfect base from which to cycle and explore the area!

This was another fantastic experience at The Farmhouse. I have visited on and off since Dorrien first opened in 1993 or 1994. I keep going back because I find the service and quality of accommodation at The Farmhouse very difficult to beat. Great rooms with a unique style, outstanding food every evening and friendly, well trained staff who cannot do enough for you. This year was another very successful holiday and guarantees my return in future.

I loved our stay at the Farmhouse. It has the feel of a dear old friend's house party and we always meet fun guests when we go there. Dorrien, Di and James are wonderful hosts and the staff tend to have done interesting things before working at the Farmhouse. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

A little bit of heaven in the Alps! Have visited many times and are always looked after brilliantly. Nothing is too much trouble. The staff are fabulous and the food is amazing.

very different from a conventional hotel superb service from all the staff all the way from pick ups and returns to the airport, at all times at the hotel, and taking us to and picking us up from the lifts throughought the holiday great food at breakfast and evening meal in unique atmospheric surroundings convivial bar really friendly and super helpful staff throughout

A special place in the heart of the French Alps. We were a large group of 10 and were accommodated in 3 lovely rooms. The beds were especially comfortable after a long day's driving and the staff were all exceptionally helpful. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic rooms with very comfortable beds and endless hot water. Food was, generally, very good. Excellent breakfasts to set you up for a days skiing. Tea and cakes to welcome you back in the afternoon. A wonderful dinner in great company around a long polished table. Very special. Dorian and James are skilled in recruiting the best staff. Friendly and helpful and fun. I can be critical having been in the business but there is nothing to criticise at The Farmhouse and I would definitely recommend it for an extra special ski holiday.
