Chalet F'net & Space Conker

We had a great holiday at Chalet F'Net. Despite our flight being delayed George (the chalet guardian) could not have been more helpful. He came out in the middle of the night to take us from the parking to the chalet and even produced fresh milk for our morning coffee. George was a star throughout our stay: several trips back and forth up the mountain path, lighting the wood burner before we returned in the evening so the chalet was warm and cosy, chopping wood and lightly the hottub, as well as being generally convivial and providing advice as to local restuarants and trails.

Recommend! When you think mountain chalet this place kinda nails it: cozy wooden cabin with wood burning fireplace, all the shaggy throw rugs, perched high up with incredible views of the valley and surrounding mountains. We were two couples and had plenty of space. Perfect location for a winter getaway, just be aware that getting to and from your car in the carpark 300 meters down requires either a steep hike or a ride in the property manager's ATV.

We had a WONDERFUL time at the chalet!!! It is so unique and beautifully put together, the furs give it a very cozy vibe! It was the perfect spot for us to have some seclusion surrounded by nature but also close enough that we could easily get to Chamonix (via car!) for skiing. The bathtub upstairs and the hot tub outside were an added bonus after a long day of skiing!! Definitely recommend 4WD and a car with high clearance! George was SO helpful always having a fire ready or suggesting best restaurants (La Taniere was literally the best food ever).
