Relais de Poste Ardèche

All the apartments are in the same building, a lovely old coaching inn, but each has a private feel and are not overlooked. There is a TV in each and Backgammon and Dominoes for quiet moments. A hectare of garden is yours to wander, scattered with umbrella pines, cypress and olive trees. All you will hear is birdsong and you can float in the pool or hone in on the honesty bar in the pool house, stocked with champagne, gin, rum, pastis.

Each apartment also has its own private outdoor seating area complete with plancha for outdoor cooking. Kitchens are modern and well-equipped but breakfast can be ordered if you prefer: milk, juice, cheese, ham, eggs, jam, yogurt, croissants, Sylvia’s homemade apple pie, clafoutis, pancakes. Dinners are available twice a week using seasonal and local produce.

There are many walks and footpaths from the door, a great little restaurant 7 minutes away and golf can be arranged with the owners.
