The Experience

With roots in the 9th century the house has vast, medieval rooms with enlarged windows and is beautifully designed. Tapestries hang on the walls, there’s plenty of squashy seating for everyone, the architecture is impressive and there are views from every window. Bedrooms, all en suite, are traditional and amazingly comfortable.

The kitchen is strictly off limits – you are beautifully looked after by our resident chef, Guillaume, who prepares authentic Provençal cuisine using local ingredients. Our French butler and charming house manager will consult with you on food, do all the shopping, set up dinner tables in the garden or inside and serve up delicious meals. Breakfast is served under a rose covered arbour in summer with fresh breads and pastries from the village baker, local cheeses and charcuteries, homemade jams and seasonal fruit.

The grounds are surrounded by 135 hectares of forest, the extensive, manicured gardens are delightful and views soar all the way to the Dentelles mountains.
