The Experience
The owners have created a space that you’ll want to return to. This big ‘neo-Provençal’ house and terraced garden is a tranquil hideaway with plenty of space to kick back. Hang out in the lovely pool area or a secret corner of the garden.
Artist Morag’s colourful paintings liven up the walls while local antiques, good kilims and personal mementoes make the house a home. Sink into the sofa before the open fireplace and browse the vast selection of books – there are plenty on Provence. The well-kitted out kitchen is inviting and you’ll soon be piled round the gleaming antique refectory table for big, chatty meals.
Fine big bedrooms and pretty tiled bathrooms await upstairs. Head out for water sports of every description on Lac de Saint Cassien, local markets, golf at Terre Blanche, or walking in the hills behind Callian.

Just a delight! The terrace has magical views over the plain below, the house is well equipped and very comfortable and the gardens and pool add to the overall charm. It is the perfect place to escape to and just absorb the atmospheres and warmth of the region. The village is within walking distance and has a good bakers and butchers and a mini market , plus several restaurants. Robert is an excellent host and provides detailed information about the house and area. The many hill top villages are wonderful just to wander in .

A particularly charming, quiet and harmonious place to stay amid a paradise of luxuriant vegetation. While I was there, I kept thinking how restorative it would be to have a long, leisurely breakfast on that terrace facing such a breath-taking view!

We had a lovely time at this villa. Very quite and secluded and we immediately felt very at home. Villa had everything you could need. We didn't know before we went but due to the split level suitable for two families and/or a split of older/younger people.

A super return trip to this lovely house was just as special as the first time. The location is stunning and the house delightful with shady and sunny outside spaces, a flower filled garden and a beautiful pool. The accommodation is spacious , light and airy and is spread over three floors. The kitchen is incredibly well equipped! The highlight of most days was sitting on the terrace enjoying the wonderful view and soaking up the sun shine whilst sampling the excellent local produce. The village is only ten minutes walk away and has good restaurants too.
