Le Clos du Guiel

We stayed in the delightful annex of this property. The annex overlooked a small stream at the rear. The accommodation was very comfortable and clean, and we were able to site on the small balcony overlooking the stream. The hostess and her husband were charming, friendly, and helpful, and were kind enough to arrange for us, a local restaurant on the two two nights we stayed at the property. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Delightful hosts and the cottage next to the river was charming. Excellent restaurant nearby. Would love to return.

Marika & Pierre were very welcoming and hospitable hosts and we enjoyed a 3 night stay. The accommodation was very spacious and comfortable. The location, adjacent to a mill stream, was lovely. Marika was very helpful in recommending good restaurants in the area and helpful in getting last minute bookings in the popular ones which were already busy.

We had a lovely one night stay at Le Cos du Guiel. It’s very pretty, well equipped and spotlessly clean. We liked being in a separate little building - a bedroom + kitchen upstairs and a double bedroom downstairs, both with their own front doors. The building is beautiful as is the garden setting and proximity to the river - we loved the calming sound of the river. We had an excellent meal at the nearby Trout restaurant. Marika and Pierre were very welcoming and made everything very easy - giving us clear directions in English and organising our dinner reservation. We will definitely be back.

Very helpful, welcoming hosts. We felt extremely well looked after. Marika was in touch over two days organising dinner for us and was very patient and helpful when our timings changed. What a delightful home, beautifully restored and updated, and with much care put into the details of the rooms. Lovely breakfast, with home made jam. Another time we are keen to try the wash house, sitting directly on the river.

Such a lovely spot. Immaculately clean and utterly charming. Marika was very considerate and could not have been more helpful and kind.
