Gaillac vineyards surround this old wine master’s house – the definition of relaxed French country chic, with a decorative smattering of foreign pieces. Florence and Olivier are delightfully attentive and want you to love this rich, rural area as much as they do. Calm rooms charm with church views, high, beamed ceilings, stone and light-painted walls, linen cushions and canopies. Breakfasts – dinners too in summer – are memorable, out under the rambling vine shelters. And it’s simply lovely, after a spin on a bike, to plunge into the sparkling pool to gentle cooing from the pigeonnier. Cordes is close.
If you're considering a holiday at Les Vents Bleu then you need look no further. This place is truly excellent, and we have stayed at a fair few properties on the Sawdays website. Les Vents Bleu ticked every box for us, including beautifully decorated room and bathroom, crisp white linen on the beds, wonderful pool (heated) with far reaching views, huge garden for children to roam around and peace and quiet. The hosts were charming and really helpful in every way, you will not be disappointed.
