We have all enjoyed and appreciated every aspect of this meticulously renovated property which has been carefully considered to provide guests with everything they might need or didn't expect - for the perfect holiday. Living in this elegant and very comfortable retreat/art gallery has been an experience and we would happily repeat. Everything this past week has been fab.

Wonderful stay in a wonderful house with equally wonderful hosts. Everything was perfect for us, pool, pool, ping-pong, kitchen just great for cooking (super to be somewhere with actual shops!) and the loveliest nights' sleeps. ....... Feel completely relaxed and definitely don't want to leave and would love to return. Diolch and Merci

What an astonishingly beautiful house - the colours, the art, the attention to detail and the superb pool too! You have been the perfect, kind, friendly hosts, helping us with the info: we definitely want to come back next year! We arrived frazzled and left relaxed, having done a lot of lounging, talking, reading, drawing, drinking and eating. The perfect holiday - thank you very much.

We came on holiday with the sole intention of relaxing for a week and could not have done it in a nicer place. Everything about the house is wonderful, the decor and furnishings, the kitchen equipment, the outdoors. We have been renting houses in France for 20 years and have never had such a beautiful swimming pool. The proximity to Pézenas is a great benefit from buying early morning pastries to strolling the streets in the evening. Thank you

We already knew we were coming to a very beautiful villa - nevertheless, we were speechless after seeing it in the flesh! The colours, the furniture, the paintings, the space indoors and outdoors - what an amazing project it has been for you both. Then there's the holiday, strolling around Pézenas, Mèze beach, Marseillan, the wine festival and the lunch at Seigneurie de Peyrat Winery were amongst many highlights....... Thank you so much for a beautiful week in your gorgeous jewel-box of a house. All your recommendations were tip-top (The vineyard pique-nique! The beach! The restaurants! and, of course, Café des Arts!) and we've so enjoyed relaxing in this oasis.

We enjoyed every minute in your beautiful retreat. You have a wonderful eye for design, colour and comfort. You've truly created a bit of paradise. Everything was perfect - there couldn't be a better place to experience Languedoc and the South of France. Two weeks went by like the blink of an eye and really isn't long enough to experience everything that is available in the area.

We felt very honoured to be the first guests in your beautiful home. We've had a lovely week. We love the house. Your attention to detail is amazing. You have thought of everything guests might need. We have especially appreciated the fabulous artwork on the walls.

You enter a long, high room with so much going on that you wonder what to focus on: the sea-blue colours, the lofty ceiling, the super modern kitchen, the colourful, dynamic artwork on the walls... Shall I sit at the unfussy timber dining table? The dashing aluminium breakfast bar? The clean-cut vintage sitting area? The house has been converted with strong, assured taste - I loved this confident, un-chintzy style.

My wife and I went to FleurDilly in the summer with friends. I had no idea what to expect but to say I was pleasantly surprised would be an understatement. As you go through the gate from the road you enter your own little oasis of peace, quiet and relaxation. The house itself has vibrant colours everywhere, amazing artwork and great colourful bathrooms. It all works so well and matches the climate superbly. The bedrooms are all huge, all decorated differently and look over the garden and pool. Absolute genius is the only description for the pool.

We had a wonderful stay with friends filled with long sociable lunches on the terrace under the shade of the trees followed by afternoons dropping in and out of the beautiful pool and lolling on the warm stone slabs. The house is super stylish, chic & distinctive. As soon as you arrive it feels private & peaceful. Upstairs big, funky bedrooms all have views over the pool. Downstairs the enormous living room and kitchen area is bright, cool, comfortable & elegant. Everything you need for a perfect escape with family and friends. This is a very special place indeed. Fleurdilly is a stunning property in the beautiful French market town of Pézenas in the Languedoc. It has been stylishly restored in a modern style whilst respecting and in keeping with the original character. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and have air conditioning (as does the rest of the house) and blackout shutters which was very helpful as I stayed in July. The location is great – Pézenas has everything you need and a great market on Saturdays. it’s a short walk to the town centre but hidden behind gates which open onto a lovely oasis of peace and calm.
