The Experience

This truly special property is at the heart of the Lamour family farm. Owners Liz and Corentin have spent years restoring the collection of cottages that make up this charming hamlet in the heart of Brittany.

Huge conservatory windows bring in a flood of light, while squishy leather sofas, sheepskin rugs and an eclectic collection of vintage pieces give the house real style and comfort. Create magic in the kitchen with organic herbs, salad, vegetables and the edible flowers Liz grows in the garden and greenhouse — you’re welcome to help yourself. Freshly laid eggs from the farm’s hens are treasures for the kids to find.

Lush gardens, a sunny terrace with loungers and a barbecue tempt you outside. Families will love the generous communal spaces where the kids can play (a wooden castle and sandpit for the littlies, table tennis and football for older ones) while you contemplate another sundowner in perfect peace.

Reviews

I fell deeply in love with this stunning property, one of the nicest I have ever inspected; Liz and Corentin have done it all with so much taste, and grace and good humour. It would be a dream to come, and to stay with busy little ones.

Location

The neighbourhood

Le Char a Bancs is the family’s excellent farm-to-table restaurant in the village. Plenty of great beaches within 10 minutes’ drive. The gardens of Kerfouler (30 mins) are worth a visit, as is L’abbaye de Beauport in Paimpol (30 mins). The castle at Le domaine de la Roche Jagu in Ploëzal (40 mins) has an amazing restaurant, and a trip to the sculpted shoreline of the Pink Granite coast is a must.

Local points of interest from Liz & Corentin Lamour

Introducing

Liz & Corentin Lamour

Liz and Coretin met when she worked as a student in his parents’ restaurant. Having discovered a mutual love of food, gardening and DIY, they have poured their passion into the eight cottages that make up the hamlet (each is named after a family member who once lived there). Liz is on site to answer any questions and they are mines of information about the local area.
