What a fantastic place - accommodation + the Borders + even more fabulous views. What a week to come as well - beautiful sunshine + sunsets - a wonderful way to reach a new decade. Will definitely miss this place x

We've really enjoyed our week exploring the Borders for the first time. Loved the accommodation, loads of space for everyone, even made use of the piano! Enjoyed walks & recommend Electric Ettrick E-bike hire. Nice visits to Melrose & Jedburgh. Thank you!!

Lovely home, quaint town and amazing views! We truly enjoyed our time at Five Turrets and exploring the Scottish Borders. Gethin was a fantastic host who was helpful, kind - much appreciated!

Such a lovely stay! Slept so well and loved spending time in the garden. The Ship Inn in Melrose was great for a pint, as was the abbey, gardens and lovely by the Tweed River. Spent a couple in Edinburgh - Park + Ride easy and convenient. Visited the French restaurant in Selkirk and used Tony's for a takeaway. Lovely holiday!

A place which has the "wow" factor with stunning views across the town. Conveniently placed for the town centre and a great base for many trips down memory lane in the area I grew up in. Thank you and God bless!

We were in awe of this beautiful home from the moment we walked in. It is such a fabulous family space with a comfortable yet stylish interior. We immediately felt at home after a very warm welcome. We loved exploring the local area and enjoyed the Go Wild Scotland walk, which was a very gentle and pleasant stroll. Thank you!

Wow! As this was a staycation we wanted something a little quirky! We loved this accommodation. Myself, husband, mum, dad along with our 2 kids. On arrival some lovely homemade bread, milk, bottle of Prosecco and local coffee. Honestly a really lovely touch. Towels, beds and utilities all clean and excellent. Actually loved my bed as so comfy. Mezzanine favourite with the boys as the footie was on. I could sit with my mum in the living area and still feel part of their excitement...pasta machine a real hit..Showers amazing along with the nice touches of toiletries...Overall,great accommodation

Just Wow! I think that covers The Five Turrets perfectly! We had a fantastic stay this week and the weather was perfect too. It was our first visit to the Scottish Borders and we will definitely be back. The Five Turrets has everything you could possibly require and all top quality; all of the online photos were exactly what you get. We felt at home straightway and it was the ideal place to relax. We are a family of five with two adults and three children aged 9, 13 and 18 and it was perfect for us all... The River walk was lovely...the four mile Cardrona forest trail ..was beautiful.

The Five Turrets is pure joy...The photographs do not really do this place justice. The space is much grander than it appears online. The tower in the top bedroom is a fabulous fairytale quirk....The location is a two minute walk from Selkirk's charming town centre but only five minutes from a beautiful park, loch and stately home. There is spectacular scenery and wildlife on the doorstep yet it is close to civilisation with superfast broadband...This is a stunningly renovated heritage property that has had an injection of modern luxury. We did not want to leave our fairytale Borders' bolthole

A long weekend in Selkirk was made magical by a stay at The Five Turrets. The other reviews capture the building perfectly, but to repeat, the rooms are well apportioned with fantastic furniture and plenty of plates, cups, glasses and utensils to complete the stay. We arrange for a chef to come to the house and cook for us. A perfect meal which started off the weekend in the best way. We also arranged a visit to a local gin distillery. Both recommended by the owners. Thoroughly recommended.

Staying in Five Turrets is like reliving history in a very modern way, the contrast of historical exterior and modern interior is outstanding, a moment you are looking at this brilliant old Coach house and next moment you are inside in this super modern kitchen with all possible amenities. Every room is special, every window has the most amazing view and every corner of the house would make you want to stay here longer. Scotland in itself is such a beautiful country and if you get to experience the beauty with the comfort of such lovely house what more can you ask for.

A beautiful place brimming with character! It was the ideal place for our friends reunion, with the wonderfully spacious kitchen/living/dining area. Great location too, with restaurants a short walk and plenty to explore nearby!

The house exceeded our expectations. The design of the house is just stunning and the owners have thought of everything- from a lovely woodburning stove, complete with all the logs to a library filled with books, to immaculate bathrooms and a kitchen- fitted with all the best appliances. We were very lucky with the weather and so were able to sit out the whole weekend in the sun in the lovely garden. Thank you so much for having us and no doubt we will be back very soon.

A fabulous house, full of quirky and colourful furnishings and decor - beautiful handwoven wall hangings by owner Carolynn Shaw and photography by owner Gethin Chamberlain - great sense of space in the kitchen/dining/sitting area with vaulted celing and mezzanine library area - the perfect house to chill and enjoy the company of friends.

Wow! Our group of 7 had the most amazing time in The Five Turrets. It was the perfect venue to host a big birthday celebration. The interior is stunning, stylish, super comfortable and very well equipped. It was warm and cosy throughout, especially in front of the roaring log fire! Beds are the comfiest some of us have ever experienced! Lovely views out across the hills and a beautiful walk almost on the doorstep (round the Haining Estate) if you need a change of scenery.
