The Experience

You’ll feel very private and cocooned by greenery here, tucked into the Estate’s Designed Landscape. On balmy days you can spill outdoors onto your own terrace and lawn, sit back in comfort on plantation chairs, barbecue on the Big Green Egg and ease into the secluded cedar hot tub with a glass of wine. Later you can watch many stars come out in the unpolluted skies.

The sitting room is painted in the softest shade, there’s underfloor heating and a wood-burner, books and games, comfy seating and good art. The swish kitchen has all a cook needs but you can order a breakfast hamper to be delivered or a chef to cook – you’ll receive all the information when you book about how to make the best of the stay. Your voluptuous bedroom and bathroom occupy the whole of the top floor, you’ll find soft robes and scented Verden soaps and lotions.

Plans are afoot for ‘experiences’ but in the meantime you’ve got 3,100 hectares to discover on foot.

Reviews

Clermount is an exceptional cottage, I struggle to fault it! Super comfy and so much to explore on the estate. A great place to get away from it all.
