- Asking for a packed lunch and heading off into such stunning countryside for a wonderful day of striding the hills
- Booking the executive suite and having your independence but the choice to eat at the hotel if you can't be fussed with cooking
- Lots of watery fun – take a boat trip from the pier below, or hire a rib for an hour long ride on the loch
You should know
- You will be asked to have dinner at the lodge at least one of the nights you are staying
- Mobile phone reception is patchy depending on your network
- This is remote – the nearest petrol is at Fort Augustus, 14 miles
Foyers Lodge, a great place in such amazing surroundings! Through its many incarnations, the building has welcomed passing travellers for a very long time and now, through Anna and Phil's wonderful renovations, the Lodge has really come to life, with its relaxed house party feel. A perfect place to chill out for a few days, or as a base for the Central or even the North and West Highlands.
