Curved Stone House

We enjoyed a magical two weeks at the Stone Houses. Everything was superb and perfect. It was peaceful and secluded, but just a short walk down into Ullapool. The views were glorious of course. The space was generous, and the design a delight, including all the artwork. The kitchen was extremely comfortable to use and so well equipped. The underfloor heating was great. We really appreciated Rachel and Gavin’s friendly welcome and professional service, with such attention to detail to give their guests perfect comfort. We would love to return one day!

Unmatched Beauty and Comfort. Our week stay was made particularly special in this beautifully designed, decorated and equipped Stonehouse. We were drawn hourly to the spectacular views of the town of Ullapool and the loch and hills beyond from every window. The interior design was subtly beautiful and comforting. We would stay at The Storehouses again for sure.

We stayed in the Curved Stone Building and I think it was the nicest self catering property we have ever stayed in. So much space (it’s bigger inside than it looks), it was comfortable with lovely beds and absolutely everything we could possibly need. The view from the house is just breathtaking. Could have happily spent hours looking over the loch watching the ferries come in. As a bonus, a group of deer walked across the patio every evening! One of the best things about it is that you can walk into Ullapool ..Very highly recommended.

The most exquisite holiday home I've ever stayed in, and we've stayed in a few! It had everything you could have possibly wanted. We hired both houses for a long weekend, but we all congregated in the Curved Stone House and it was just great for entertaining, with lots of room in the kitchen, dining area and living area. The wood burner created a really lovely, cosy atmosphere. The master bedroom is cavernous! And the bed sumptuous. ...Just five star every where you looked.....

This is a Highland eyrie and no mistaking. Looking out the landscape windows one has the impression of flying out over Loch Broom. The spaces are stunning, barely a straight wall in sight and the attention to detail exemplary. Charming Ullapool is just below, yet a quick drive away and you'll have some of Scotland's most dramatic scenery to explore. Come, rain or shine this is a very special place

An AMAZING place. Was expecting something special but our holiday at the Stonehouses exceeded all our expectation, this place is a Gem and very very special. Wonderful owners. A beautiful area to visit.
