The Experience

If you feel in need of spoiling and some truly delicious food then spirit yourselves away to this pretty spot. The restaurant barn dates back to the 16th century and is light and bright, the two bedrooms are opposite with a courtyard in between. Guests also have their own seating area in the eaves – popular for a cocktail before dinner.

Executive chef and owner Ivan, along with head chef Alex, produce a wonderful tasting menu with either five or ten courses, featuring much from the estate and some impressive local suppliers – every element of each dish is carefully considered and paired with mainly organic wines. Lunch service is more relaxed with a root-to-shoot menu, changing with the seasons.

Retire to very attractive bedrooms with Edward Bulmer paint, bold fabric headboards, gorgeous fresh flowers and sumptuous beds. Wake to a breakfast menu as neatly thought out as dinner, then explore the voluptuous gardens – or ask for a tour.
