The Old Barn

All bedrooms are on the ground floor and the living spaces above, to make the most of the fabulous A-frame beam which divides the living space from the kitchen and dining room. Relax on a huge sofa or soft armchairs in front of the wood-burner, or use the cushioned window seat for a quiet read. There are games and cards for wet weather days, a super dining room for convivial meals, a kitchen with all the kit you might need and lots of colourful artwork with a bird or botanical theme.

All the bedrooms are lovely and light with thick mattresses and robes, feather duvets, pretty fabric blinds, cool mirrors and good lighting. The master suite is massive and has its own doors to the garden and the bathrooms are scented with soaps and lotions from Bamford.

On warm days you’ll be in the garden with its wrap-around lawn and mature trees. Light the barbecue and wander over to the pub while you’re waiting – or just choose to eat there.
