The Experience

In one of Somerset’s prettiest villages, next door to a foodie pub and opposite St Mary’s Church with its interesting octagonal tower, is this bright and airy 1641 house. With luxurious bedding, stylish rattan or fabric headboards, pops of colour and good art, plus swish en suite bathrooms stocked with fluffy towels, it feels as spoiling as staying in a boutique hotel.

But you get the best of all worlds: a charming sitting room and neat kitchen, stocked with essentials and a few fresh goodies, to look after yourselves — with the option of tucking into a delicious breakfast at the pub when you fancy a morning off. The food is excellent so don’t be surprised if you book for supper too.

You get your own patio and you’re free to use the Market Garden (coming soon) and pub garden. Explore NT Barrington Court, and a little further afield, the vibrant towns of Bruton, Frome and Glastonbury.
