Wow! No amount of gushing can capture how amazing Ellerton Hall is. John, Lucy & Gina - thank you for the incredible oasis you have created! Grand and luxurious yet homely and relaxing; bursting with beautiful period character and history yet with every modern need met with the thought and care the hosts have put in. The perfect combination that provided an incredible venue for a very memorable 50th. We didn’t want to leave!

During our visit from British Columbia, Canada we spent three days at this wonderful Hall. You have to imagine the contrast to our home on Vancouver Island where visitors can include the odd black bear and then the peaceful magnificence of this stately English home. The grounds were lovely, the accommodation luxurious and the hosts so very welcoming. For us it was almost a once in a lifetime experience.

Our 4 generation family get together was absolutely amazing From the moment we arrived at this fabulous house we had all that we needed for every generation, including total luxury for the 'grownups'. Cinema room was a huge bonus for keeping the kids amused on a very cold weather weekend. We had the unexpected bonus of snow, so snowman built, snow angels made, warmup in the hot tub, then inside to the warm welcome of the house. John has thought of everything when renovating this stunning place and we are so grateful to have had the opportunity to stay here with our large family. Many many thanks.

We had the best time at Ellerton, from the moment we arrive until the moment we left it was such an amazing experience. The property is breathtaking. Renovated to such a high standard, you feel so lucky to get to spend a weekend in such grand surroundings... Having 6 amazing double ensuite bedrooms make it a lot easier when allocating rooms. I felt so rested after spending time here, from spending hours relaxing in the movie room, to stargazing in the hot tub. Already some of our group are looking to book a return visit... we will hopefully have the opportunity to return again.

We booked Ellerton for a 40th celebration and it was just perfect. The house is beautiful and immaculate, loads to do there, the communication and organising before-hand was great, all the staff so helpful and John, the Owner, was on-hand to help anytime we needed. We also hired the housekeeper for the day to prepare food, serve drinks and keep on top of the cleaning - she was ace and such a good add on! The whole group really loved this stay and have only great things to say about it. Thanks John and team! xx

My stay at Ellerton Hall was unforgettable. The stunning property, both inside and out, left me in awe. The outdoor space with seating areas and a jacuzzi was amazing. The owner, John, provided exceptional service and made our experience even better. The house allowed me to mentally refocus and enjoy every moment. Ellerton Hall can provide a sumptuous haven for a group entertaining or holiday experience. It is very well equipped to provide comfort, convenience, luxury and fun. The location is central to many amenities, activities and entertainment opportunities. However given attributes of the house and glorious setting guests may prefer to stay here and enjoy all that it has to offer
