Another fantastic stay at The Oak. Everything you need for a relaxing break with breathtaking views.

Absolutely beautiful stay. So many little touches that make this place a real luxury. The oak has everything you need, we didn’t venture out to the villages as the place was so well equipped we didn’t need or want to! The view is spectacular and with the log burner absolutely perfect. Fantastic base for walking the cheviots, lots of places to wonder but easy to navigate back to Kidlandlee. A very happy Labrador with his creature comforts and his own welcome back! We can’t wait to be back!

Well what a wonderful week in peaceful Kidlandlee. From the moment we arrived till the moment we left, we didn’t want to leave. The Oak is a holiday home that has been designed to make relaxation second nature. There is no detail that hasn’t been thought about - the attention to detail and luxury is staggering. There is everything you could possibly need to cook, BBQ, explore or simply chill. The tranquility and stunning scenery is amazing, with the beautiful views and abundant wildlife. A big thank you for the very generous hamper. We have booked to return to this little piece of Heaven.

A lot of places with spectacular countryside and surrounding views rest on their laurels, and often the quality of the accommodation is forgotten and feels a little tired. The Oak at Kidlandlee is not one of those places! It was spotlessly clean, very well equipped, and there was a lovely welcome pack. Add to this the most incredible views and it’s the perfect place to get away from it all. We visited the surrounding pubs and restaurants, but after eating just wanted to get back to the cottage, relax, and look at the wonderful views. Oh, and the outdoor bath is a must!
