Lemmington Lodge

Our second stay in these gorgeous holiday homes. The view from Lemmington Lodge was stunning, we loved watching the sheep being herded in the morning with the Cheviot Hills behind. The cottages have really luxurious finishes such as underfloor heating and modern en-suites but with personal touches such as a secret toy cupboard and complimentary cakes on arrival. We love the location, so close to gorgeous beaches and countryside but also pubs, restaurants and shops. We will definitely be back.

We had the most wonderful few days at the lodge. The cottage was warm, inviting, beautifully decorated, well equipped and Lydia had thought of everything including welcome touches like flowers, a homemade cake and even a toy cupboard to keep the children entertained whilst I unpacked. The setting is simply stunning and we enjoyed wonderful days out visiting Alnwick Castle, the many amazing beaches and breakfast at Barter books is not to be missed! We will be back !

An amazing location with the most stunning views. The property was of a high quality and we received the most warm welcome with fresh flowers, baked cakes and wine on arrival. Each room was spacious and had its own unique view. From the comfort of the living room (and beautiful bedrooms) we saw so much wildlife moving in and around the woodland landscape. The location also meant it wasn’t too far to explore local beaches, popular attractions or pick up some extra groceries. We will most certainly be back. Thank you for a wonderful family holiday - it really was the most perfect place!

We had the most delightful stay at Lemmington Lodge. Stunning views from every window and very well stocked cottage. We couldn’t have wished for a more magical few days in Northumberland.

What a stunning location and the cottage could not have been more beautiful or well equipped. We were welcomed by the owner with delicious cake, wine and flowers. The concierge service was fantastic. We pre-ordered the meat box which was such good value. The spa afternoon and shepherds walk were real highlights! Our children loved the toy cupboard (what a fabulous touch) and could not have had a more fun week. We can't wait to return! Hoping to visit in the Summer next time to try surf school and cycling. Thank you Lemmington cottages!

Its a very special place. All you hear is birdsong, the wind, nature. There's no light pollution. If you want to relax, read and walk... It's the perfect place.
