The Experience
Portobello Road Market is on the doorstep. Head down to Goldborne Road, overshadowed by modern masterpiece Trellick Tower, to escape the tourists. Here you’ll find authentic pavement cafe life (try a Portuguese toastie and pastel de nata) and you can browse endless brick-a-brack stalls or hunt for antiques.
Wander back to The Hayden for coffee or a cocktail in one of their red leather booths. Food is served all day: fish and chips, warm goats cheese salad, a Portobello burger. Guests also have their own side access to the upstairs bedrooms – sleek, comfortable and with bathtubs for a long soak.
Spend an evening watching a film at the Electric Cinema – it’s the ultimate lounging experience with cashmere blankets to keep you cosy and waiting staff bringing you drinks. Whatever you fancy, you’ll find it here: endless eateries from vegan to Caribbean and anything from hipster bar to old man’s pub.

Introducing
Pub & Rooms
Pub & Rooms (part of First Restaurant Group) run a small boutique chain of pubs with rooms in London. You are looked after by a friendly, helpful team of staff.
We spent two nights there and would highly recommend. The staff was really friendly, the rooms were beautifully decorated and the food was delicious. We will stay there again on our next trip to London.
