The Experience

A cool bolthole for two, just 20 minutes into central London. Once home to the horses of a wealthy merchant, the coach house is now a funky modern space, a wall of windows and a pretty cobblestone pathway the sole reminders of its former use. An open space, divided by large Lego-like blocks into four levels by its architect owner, it keeps its creative buzz. Whitewashed bricks and woven cream carpeting are brightened by fresh flowers and the occasional floral print. Your bedroom is on the top mezzanine: a nimble step up a short flight of wood and metal stairs painted a racing green. Bed linen is crisp and a small hanging rail suits the trendy warehouse style. Below the bedroom is a mini-mezzanine with a desk where you can browse design magazines and enjoy your plasma TV. In the raftered kitchen find tea, coffee – and a cosy table for two; the minimalist bathroom is off here. Test the premieres at Richmond Theatre, or visit neo-Palladian Chiswick House. You can walk to the river – and Chiswick station – in minutes.

Reviews

Another terrific stay! Virginia and Pierre are so kind and welcoming. The Coach House has all you need for a very comfortable break. A handy bus service whisks you to Chiswick High Road, alternatively in minutes you can be strolling by the Thames. The location has it all!

Sue, Glasgow

The Coach House is perfect! It has everything you will need and more, in a truly well thought out space. Warm and cosy, with the addition of a very comfortable bed, with lovely linen too! Location is excellent, wonderful walks and pubs by the Thames. Good shopping on Chiswick High Road and Turnham Green terrace. Such kind and welcoming hosts. Already looking forward to our return visit!

It was perfect! Such a nice Apartment, very good connections to The City, beautiful surrounding, the kindest host you ever can find, we had really everything we needed (and more) in this pretty apartment. We felt so well, slept so good and could perfectly relax after our sightseeing tours in London City. It was always like coming home in the evenings. We surely will come back. Thank you so much!!
