The Experience

You’re on the attractive high street a short stroll from leafy Hampstead Heath. Walk up Parliament Hill for fabulous views over the city skyline, take an icy dip in the ponds or Parliament Hill Lido; bring a picnic for a lazy afternoon. Cool Camden is close too, five minutes on the Northern Line from Hampstead tube, a ten-minute walk.

The restaurant/bar is usually buzzy with locals choosing delicious dishes from an all-day menu, and you might like to sip a cocktail or stay and eat before slipping upstairs to your swish apartment. One is light-flooded with double height windows, the other is cosy up in the eaves, both have shower rooms and well kitted-out corner kitchenettes if you want to rustle up meals. They’ve thought of everything: top notch sound proofing, AC, huge TVs loaded with Netflix and sofas that turn into beds for kids.

North London is at your feet for culture, eating out and shopping. The perfect city break pad.

Reviews

Two beautifully renovated, bright, lofty spaces sit above this rather lovely new restaurant/bar. The First Restaurant team have done a cracking job at reviving this building and the locals clearly love it. The team are welcoming, professional and friendly and this is a brilliant base for exploring Hampstead and north London.

Location

The neighbourhood

Your location can't be beaten, everything you might want is a walk, underground ride or bus journey away. For food try Delicatessen, a fabulous Middle Eastern establishment; Louis Patisserie, a divine Hungarian bakery; Planet Organic; or any of the nearby fabulous restaurants. Camden, King's Cross, Notting Hill, Fenton House and Garden NT are all easy to reach.

Local points of interest from Pub & Rooms

  • Hamptead Heath is just a 15-minute walk and is one of London’s most popular green spaces, famous for its spectacular views of the capital’s skyline. It's an expanse of beautiful countryside just a short drive from the city centre.
  • Camden Market is one of the world’s most famous markets. The Market is packed to the gunnels with stalls trading in handmade clothes and jewelry, music memorabilia, objects from ages past and authentic food from far flung locations.
