The Experience
Tim and Margot – she’s from Melbourne – are your fun and friendly hosts, always happy to go the extra mile. The closest tube is West Brompton – a ten to fifteen-minute walk or a bus ride. Inside all is charming and spacious. Your bedroom, up a wide spiral staircase, is nicely private on the second floor with a big sofa, TV and books, and a sunny bathroom.
In a tiny, sun-trapping courtyard you can have continental breakfast in good weather – tropical fruits, freshly baked pastries and very good coffee; a second miniature garden bursts with life at the back.
The tennis at Queen’s is in June and on your doorstep. Stroll along the Thames to Fulham Palace or the Wetland Centre in Barnes – home to kingfishers, sand martins, wading birds and more. You’re close to tons of good restaurants and there are perfectly ironed sheets waiting for you on a comfy bed after dinner.

What you see on the pictures is exactly what you get ! But most of it , it is Margot , she was so welcoming , we had a wonderful time , the house is very clean, and the breakfast delicious. we had a great time at breakfast for a little chat. The location is very quiet at night, and at five minutes walk , you have little restaurants, pub which were very nice. And as you are not right in the center of London, 2 minutes walk you have bus 74 which take you right away in the center of London. We had a great stay and definately we hope we can come back soon ! Thank you Margot .

This was a perfect base for my birthday weekend in London, timed to coincide with the London Open Gardens scheme. Tired and weary at the end of each day it was great to come back to our spacious, quiet and comfortable accommodation (including a huge bath!), whilst Margot was a really lovely host.

We recently stayed three nights in London @15 Delaford Street Fulham B&B. Wonderful experienced hosts Margo and Tim. Our lovely pale blue suite was spacious, quiet and comfortable to relax after touring London. Excellent breakfast and good conversation in a dining nook surrounded by gardens on two sides. Nearby access to bus and tube stations with helpful guidance and support from Margot. We would definitely return and recommend this B&B to our friends. We arrived as tourists left as friends .

Really lovely place to stay in Fulham. The house is beautiful and the lovely spiral staircase lead to the whole of the second floor which was completely private, spacious, comfortable and quiet. Thank you to Margo who started our day with a filling breakfast and gave us ideas of places to visit and how to get to them. The accomodation is so handy for walks into London by The Thames, the buses to Sloane Square to browse around the outdoor market and then a walk to Harrods. We found a nice pub nearby for drinks and meals but are so spoilt for choice here. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Lovely comfortable accommodation, great continental breakfast with choices of hot croissants, toast and crumpets, cereals, juice and lovely coffee. We were made to feel very welcome by Tim and Margot who were helpful with bus numbers and tube routes. The 74 bus stop is very close and runs up to the natural History Museum and V and A, and stops in Knightsbridge directly outside Harrods and then up to Madam Tussauds, we ate in the local pub The Rylston several times on the way back in the evening and enjoyed the food and friendly atmosphere there. Thank you very much for our lovely stay

A stay of 5nights with my bestfriend at Margot and Tim's house.. A such lovely stay, it's immediately feel like you're visiting some family. The neighbour is quiet (except for birds who sing during the night... but nothing inconvenient) and very good located ( 15min walking from Baron's court, West Kensigton and West Brompton). Margot and Tim are welcoming you in their house like friend, it's very pleasant :) Hope to come back!! Merci pour tout :)

Margot and Tim are wonderful hosts. Very kind and relaxed. The bedroom is beautiful and spacious with thoughtful extra’s, books, magazines etc as well as settee, tv, water etc. A private suite. Lovely bed, wardrobe space, leading to the pretty, large bathroom. Lots of thoughtful extra’s. Unfortunately a hitch outwith our control hit our plans and Margot was so lovely, so sanguine. We were so late we must have caused her difficulties as our trip overlapped another guest but she was fabulous. M gave us lots of help and tips re transport but was very unobtrusive. Highly recommend Tq M@T

For visitors to the hustle and bustle of London, I can't think of a more perfect place to stay. Margot and Tim are so welcoming and their upstairs bedroom a calm, elegant, relaxing bolthole. Coffee here is delicious and fun to enjoy in the sunny little courtyard. I'll have to return if just for the freshly baked pastries - a favourite! This is a very special place with wonderfully generous owners.

Location
The neighbourhood
You're in genteel Fulham, a short walk from the tube, with the city at your feet. Queen's is a 15-minute walk, it's about the same by tube to Wimbledon. There's a cinema and chain restaurants in Fulham Broadway; independent eateries and shops abound. The Harwood Arms has a Michelin star - the only pub in London with the award. The no.74 bus takes you to the V&A and other museums (Science, History...).
Local points of interest from Margot & Tim Woods
- Easy travelling to sporting events such as Wimbledon, Queens Tennis Championship and the Boat Race.
- Lovely walks along the river Thames to Fulham Palace and the Wetlands in Barnes
- Another way to see London is by Water Ferry from Putney Bridge to Canary Wharf.
- There are many good restaurants in the Fulham area nearby such as Michelin Star Harwood Arms, Sukho Thai, Locale Italian, and Tendido Tapas.
- Excellent bus service close by. No.74 to History, Science and V&A Museums then onto Knightsbridge, Hyde Park, Marble Arch and Baker Street; No.11 passes many landmarks on way to St. Paul's, walk over Millenium Bridge to Tate Modern. 211 to Sloane Square.
- There is a very good cinema complex at Fulham Broadway with many small restaurants such a Wagamama, Nando, Sushi Yo in the Arcade. Also a swimming pool complex close by.

We really enjoyed our stay with Margot. She was great company--helpful and interesting, fun to have a chat with over breakfast or after you've returned to the B&B for the evening. The "guest suite" was roomy and pleasant. A couple things we only realized when we got there: - It's .7 miles from the West Brompton tube, a solid 15 minute walk. We didn't mind this and got into a routine of going into the city for 6-7 hours and then coming back to Fulham for "dinner and chill." Some great restaurants nearby! - There is not a shower, but there is a hand-held shower wand thing in the bathtub.
