Cabalva Mill Cottage

It stands on the Cabalva Estate, a family-run sheep and beef farm that owns the rights to fishing on the river…flick a fly below your front door.

All is spacious and simple with cream walls, oak floors, wool plaid curtains and a big leather sofas by a cheerful fire. There’s a desk in the corner with a landline for guests, logs from the estate, music, TV, cards, and a generous hamper that includes homemade Welsh cakes. Bury your toes in a sheepskin rug, sleep soundly in a super-king bed.

The Rhydspence Inn is just over the road and serves traditional pub food and local ales, Whitney Farm Shop is 1 mile away for stocking up or a cup of coffee.
