Church Lane Barns

What a wonderful place to spend a weekend, we could have happily stayed a week. We have stayed in a lot of places but this was by far the best, it is spacious, comfortable and in a very tranquil setting. Great beds, well equipped kitchen and luxury at every turn. Highly recommended.

We went to Church Farm Barns to celebrate a birthday, find some peace and to meet up with family. The barn was delightful and excellent for all of these. Peter and Fiona have built and curated a beautiful and well cared for environment within which to enjoy a holiday - whatever the weather. Peter was most helpful in ensuring we were comfortable and we could not fault our wonderful stay.

The church lane barn is a beautiful peaceful property. It is spacious, well equipped, decorated with great taste. Peter & Fiona are very attentive and accommodate all needs.

What a most delightful barn conversion! We have stayed in many high quality holiday rentals over the years, but this tops them all. The design and layout is fantastic and it is very well equipped, with everything you could possibly need for an enjoyable and relaxing stay. There are beautiful pictures and artwork; someone with a very good eye has clearly been at work! We will definitely be back and will look forward to enjoying the outdoor areas next time!

Our stay at Church Lane Barns was good from start to finish. Peter and Fiona were great communicators and very welcoming. The accommodation was lovely. A beautifully presented and comfortable,well equipped living space made extra special by the addition of the personal touches of delicious food provided. The garden is lovely, it is peaceful and surrounded by lovely countryside. A thoroughly great experience.

What a convivial, happy place for a intergenerational family gathering, the centrepiece of which was an 80th birthday - cake cutting in the sitooterie, rounders for the kids on the lawn and plenty of parking for guests. Perfect. Practical and stylish, the interiors are crafted with care and precision and the gardens are glorious. Would recommend highly.

Without doubt the most beautiful, well appointed and comfortable accommodation we have ever had the pleasure of staying in. The surrounding gardens are idyllic - many happy hours were spent under the oak framed seating area with tea and cake (kindly provided by the owners) watching the moor hens racing around the pond. Every single element of this self catering experience was curated to the highest standard - it goes without saying that we did not want to leave!

My friend and I stayed at the barns in June and I cannot recommend them highly enough. The accommodation is stylish, high quality and immaculate. The garden, pond and “sitooterie” where we spent hours sitting out watching the wildlife arriving at the water are charming. A n extremely generous hamper of groceries was very welcome and anything else we needed was easily accessible in the village 15 minutes walk away. Fabulous. Thank you.

We loved our stay at Church lane barns - a beautiful location, so peaceful and comfortable and ideal for local walks, cycle rides and many choices for pubs, villages etc. A great deal of thought and care has been put into the barn and we were made to feel very welcome. The owners even helped out when we needed a bicycle pump for our daughters bike! A very relaxing stay and we hope one day to be back!!

Although we were not blessed with good weather- far from it !- but returning to Church Lane Barn was something to really look forward to after a day in the rain ! The design is very attractive , using curved walls leading from the ground floor bedrooms to the seating and lounging areas, the logburner is easy to operate and very effective and there are quality fittings everywhere, including the bathrooms and the spacious kitchen. The outlook over the garden, with its seating areas and pond is very attractive.

This barn conversion is beautiful and we had a very comfortable stay. We enjoyed the space and really appreciated the lovely furnishings and decor around the house. Great location too.

We had a lovely week at Church Lane Barns, which is a great place to relax and recharge. The barn conversion has been beautifully done to create a light and open living space with comfortable bedrooms and a really well-equipped kitchen. The location is wonderful - peaceful, surrounded by fields, with a pretty private garden, complete with small pond and "sitoutery". Due to distancing guidelines we didn't meet Peter and Fiona in person until our last day but they had gone out of their way to make us feel welcome in spite of the restrictions. All in all a fantastic break.

A beautiful, elegant and tranquil barn conversion in a totally rural location and yet only half an hour from the M27, or an hour and a half by train from London, this would be a perfect place for 2 or 3 couples to unwind and explore the stunning countryside and the nearby city of Winchester, the naval history of Portsmouth and Chichester (and the brilliant theatre at Chichester)
