Kiftsgate Court

The garden is incredibly romantic: no hard lines, just soft flowing curves, banks of bluebells in spring, rare plants and mature trees, a sunken white garden and many roses, including the famous Kiftsgate Rose. In May and June the scents will be delicious and you have the place all to yourselves when the visitors go home. Right at the bottom you’ll discover a cold water pool which the brave can swim in.

Sleep comfortably in large, traditional bedrooms with high ceilings, huge windows, a serene atmosphere and views of the garden; bedrooms (four en suite, three sharing a bathroom) are traditional and spacious. Light the fire in the drawing room or sitting room, play the grand piano, choose a book from many shelves, play tennis, cook in the big kitchen with its walk-in larder. Find fresh flowers, a bottle of wine and maybe something baked.

Visit the tea shop, buy plants or walk (one hour) to a good pub, The Ebrington Arms.
