The Experience
This is a lively little village, with a general store, two great pubs and a country hotel, home to the famous Pudding Club. The Monarch’s Way and the Heart of England Way pass by and take you up into the hills for glorious walks and fine views. Buy a homemade pie from one of the local farm shops before setting out.
It’s bursting with character inside with a network of wonky beams, a big bookshelf in the sitting room with novels, DVDs, maps, guides and a cupboard of games. One end has a vast Inglenook fireplace with a wood-burner and plenty of logs, the other a big TV and a squishy sofa. Cooking is a sociable affair with another sofa in the kitchen, a wooden table plus a breakfast bar and an Aga in winter. Doors lead to the beautiful gardens with plenty of seats in different places and a barbecue.
Bedrooms (one on the ground floor, two in the middle and one at the top) are bright, beamed and crisp with super views over the gardens.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blenheim Cottage, the perfect place to celebrate a 70th birthday with Family. What a beautiful house, and a perfect location for exploring the Cotswolds. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable and for the lovely welcome hamper.

Blenheim Cottage was a delightful find. Away from the busier areas, we had a really peaceful break here. We were made to feel very welcome when we arrived and loved the huge hamper of goodies awaiting us..It is the best equipped accommodation I have ever stayed in, obviously looked after by someone who cares about their guests' comfort...Down the footpath ..is the nearest pub which serves good meals. There is a good convenience store and butcher in the village and Hidcote Gardens and Kiftsgate Gardens are a short walk away across the fields behind the lovely church. I honestly can't fault it!

Beautiful house, very comfortable and spacious for 8 adults and 1 baby in a lovely setting, the village of Mickleton on the edge of the Cotswolds. The house has everything you need and there are great walks directly from the house. Lots of interesting places to visit nearby. The village shop and pub are close by and the imposing church steeple and chiming bells of the clock tower just add to the atmosphere or rural idyll.

Thank you so much Sawdays for listing this property. It was fabulous in everyway. Faye, the owner, was so very obliging and kind. Thoughtful in what was in the house - everything was considered. If there was the smallest thing she encouraged us to be in touch and would respond straight away to assist. Faye booked places for us to eat which were perfect. We were there to celebrate an early family Christmas. Bleinheim fitted the bill. I thoroughly recommend Bleinheim Cottage and Mickleton. Thank you.

We had the most wonderful stay at Blenheim Cottage. The cottage itself was beautiful, great sized rooms, a lovely kitchen diner and everywhere was spotless. We have never stayed somewhere that had every utensil or product we needed before! The grounds were really lovely and it was such a great bonus to have garden games and different outdoor seating. We would have liked to have more outdoor lighting around the sofa area but we are being picky! We would definitely recommend Blenheim to our friends and had a lovely few days break within good distance of local towns and things to do.

Blenheim Cottage is one of the nicest properties we’ve stayed in. It’s immaculately and tastefully presented by Faye who has thought of every detail and was so helpful. It was an ideal venue for a family gathering in February being both spacious and cosy. We made full use of the well equipped kitchen with its large dining table and comfortable sofa and enjoyed relaxing by the wood burner in the charming living room. We’d love to return in summer to take full advantage of the well planned garden with its various seating areas. A memorable stay in a lovely part of the world! Highly recommend !

What an amazing cosy cottage in a beautiful location! We stayed as a family of 9 including a little one, and every little detail had been thought about and catered for by Faye. There was plenty of space for all of us and the cottage was absolutely immaculate. We had a lovely time playing games around the big kitchen table, and loved visiting the local area with plenty of helpful recommendations from Faye for food & shopping. We can’t wait to come back!

This cottage house is absolutely amazing, aside from the fact it is immaculate throughout, every single attention to detail has been so well thought out / Faye (host) is fantastic and the information provided covered everything. This has been our second visit in two months as we loved it so much, we couldn’t wait to come back. It is beautiful and the minute you walk in, you feel at home. The location is superb and the so many wonderful local recommendations from Faye are all fabulous! Words and photos don’t do it enough justice, it has to be experienced… can’t wait to go back!

Treat yourselves to lunch at The Ebrington Arms (an 8-minute drive) or reach Stratford-upon-Avon in 20 minutes.
Local points of interest from Faye & Richard
- Blenheim Cottage was our family home until early-2021. We’ve lovingly restored, extended and updated it over the years, working hard to maintain its traditional character, but also updating the house to a modern living space with the associated comforts.
- Large, mature gardens bring colour throughout the seasons, while Blenheim's inside spaces are light, warm and inviting. A huge inglenook fireplace provides a cosy home all year round. 4 well proportioned bedrooms are oak beamed & bursting with character.
- Blenheim’s kitchen is well equipped and organised for entertaining, with a large dining table, plenty of seating for all, and vaulted ceilings. An Aga range cooker provides a comforting hub in the winter months, with a modern oven and hob also available.
- Ideally located for exploring the North Cotswolds. Neighbouring Cotswolds villages, Chipping Campden, Stow-on-the-Wold & Broadway are a short drive. Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick (with Warwick Castle), Oxford, and Cheltenham are all within easy reach.
- No need to drive - nestled in an AONB, Blenheim Cottage is ideally located to access some of the best walking the Cotswolds has to offer, with the Cotswold Way National Trail, the Monarchs Way and the Heart of England Way on your doorstep.
- Walking in the Cotswolds will leave you feeling invigorated yet cultured, taking in picturesque honey-stone villages and rolling countryside, punctuated by warm and inviting pubs along the way. Magical Hidcote Gardens is a 30 minute walk from the cottage.

Introducing
Faye & Richard
As teenagers Faye and Richard would head for the Cotswolds for scenic drives, walks and great pubs - they love it here. After living and working in different parts of the UK and the US, they moved to the Cotswolds permanently in 2006. They know the area incredibly well (they lived in the cottage themselves until 2021) and leave you loads of information about how to make the most of your time here.
We have had a wonderful time in your beautiful cottage. Couldn’t think of anything that could’ve made our stay better. We were celebrating four different decades of birthdays and had perfect autumn. Weather too! Thank you so much.
