Horseshoe Barn

Beautiful surroundings. Very well thought out re designed barns. Super comfy bed and beautiful weather. Just wish we could have stayed a day or two longer. Alice the perfect host.

Highly recommend this accommodation for a stay in the Devon region. A beautiful farm and surrounds with easy access to walks and regional areas of interest.The accommodation was thoughtfully planned, stylish and spacious. Alice was very helpful with anything we needed.

A beautiful, peaceful location. Horseshoe Barn is light, airy and spacious, in fact, like the Tardis... it's bigger on the inside! The outdoor seating spot was great on a summer's evening, watching the sun go down with a glass of fizz. The large and very comfortable bed was very much appreciated, as was the abundance of beautiful flowers from the garden. We had a warm welcome from Alice who couldn't have been more helpful. We only stayed two nights this time but will definitely be back and will try the charcuterie!

What a delightful place to stay - so peaceful and relaxing. We loved it.

We had a very relaxing stay at Horseshoe Barn over the Christmas break. The space is so much bigger than it looks in the photos(!). We met Alice who was very welcoming, and tried the sausages, bacon and charcuterie made on their farm which were all delicious. Our favourite thing was falling asleep to the sound of the rain on the roof (it was probably the rainiest week of the year), and we really miss it now we are home!

Lovely stay at Horseshoe Barn, really enjoyed exploring this part of Dorset/Devon and discovered some great walks and some excellent places to eat out. Maybe provide a few more mugs.

Bottle Farm is delightful. Horseshoe Barn was so stylish, well appointed and tranquil. We could only stay for a weekend but would like to return and stay for longer, enjoying the local walks and coastal delights close by.

We had the most beautiful stay at Bottle Farm. The studio was so modern and clean, situated in the most idyllic spot on the farm looking over the cow fields. It was private with your very own outdoor fire. We woke up to a supply of warm bread and eggs ready for us to cook in the morning. Such lovely touches and memorable trip. Situated in a great location if you want to explore Dorset and Devon. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful stay in horseshoe barn, generous spacious size for two. Idyllic location and views over the valley, such a peaceful setting.Alice and Hugo were very welcoming with suggestions of local walks, restaurants and places to visit.We would definitely recommend and would happily return.

Horseshoe barn was all we hoped for. Our own lovely, spacious place with beautiful views complete with cows & goats that greeted us each day. Alice & Hugo are wonderful hosts with plenty of suggestions for where to hike or eat. When we didn’t plan they came to the rescue with charcuterie and a cider. We decided to extend our stay and are so happy we did.

Peaceful location and beautifully presented accommodation. The bed is particularly comfortable and the pillows & linen are luxury. We tried the bacon & sausages which we very much enjoyed and recommend that you try them too. Friendly and helpful hosts.

We had such a great time in Horseshoe Barn which was the perfect place to stay and exceeded our expectations! The barn was beautifully set up and extremely well equipped. It had everything we needed for our stay, including little extras like salt, pepper, oil etc and the bread and eggs on our arrival. Always appreciated. The luxurious bathroom and bath robes were nice touches, the super sized bed extremely comfortable! A beautiful, peaceful setting, we enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings. It’s a great location for visiting different parts of Dorset and Devon. Thank you!

You could stay for weeks and still not make the most of everything around you: walks, cycles, picnics, beaches, great food and local producers, interesting history and sweet villages to explore.
