The Experience
A stylish space, ideal for one large or two smaller families and everything has been well thought out for your stay: Loaf sofas, books, board games and squishy cushions by the log-burner, a fabulously well-stocked kitchen with a big dining table, huge windows and moorland views, lovely art on the walls, plenty of space for those who seek peace and a little separate study upstairs.
You can order meat boxes from the regenerative farm or have the fridge and freezer pre-stocked for you, but cooking in the kitchen will be a joy – all the basics are left for you and a generous hamper of Cornish products will be waiting. Bedrooms come in gentle hues with woollen blankets and dreamy views, the attic room just perfect for children; bathrooms have a mix of baths and showers, all are spacious.
Sip something delicious on the terrace, book a yoga class, walk down to the river for a swim in a wild pool, wander the pretty orchard, revel in the peace.

Location
The neighbourhood
It's pretty essential to have a car. There are lovely walks and challenging cycles from the house (or join the Camel Trail), meadows of wild flowers to wander in spring/summer and good swimming in river pools, Bodmin (for a steam railway) and Lostwithiel (antiques centre of Cornwall) are a 15-minute drive for stocking up or eating out. Both coasts are easy to reach for a day out.
Local points of interest from the Owner
- Treveddoe Farmhouse is set in its own 90 acres of regeneratively farmed land, (pre-order our Treveddoe beef) with the river Bedalder running down through its valley. There is a wild swimming pool in the river, in the ancient oak wood, for forest bathing
- The farmhouse has the wilds of Bodmin moor at the end of its drive, and the peace of its own lush green valley stretching out from its terrace. You will be surrounded by vibrant nature and can enjoy superb sunrises and sunsets, and shooting stars at night
- The romance of Poldark is not far away as Treveddoe used to host a successful tin mine. The old mine building is one of the highlights of our river walk, which is a lovely 35 minute loop down from the house to the river and up through the ancient oaks.
- Reconnect at Treveddoe with friends and family, and yourself. It is a fabulous biking and running area, and satisfactorily hilly – a great place to come for some triathlon training; or we can book you private yoga sessions, as well as spa treatments.
- The farm is superbly placed to visit both the north coast for surfing, coasteering, swimming or eating, and the south coast for more temperate weather. The Eden project is only 30 minutes away, and Lanhydrock is a must only 15 minutes away by car.
- Local food - book in for dinner at Coombeshead Farm – a brilliant field to fork experience, and an admirable new approach to sustainability. This is only available Thursday to Sunday and booking ahead is advised. We can arrange to unpack your groceries too

Introducing
the Owner
The family have been coming to this house for years after it was left to them by a godfather. You're looked after by Ben (a farmer), Claudy (who works in PR) and Jenny who help with hosting. They love good food and living in Cornwall and have lots of local tips for guests.
What a stunning house this is! You feel like you entering the home of a particularly stylish friend, and everything has been thought out to make your stay comfortable. I can just imagine large families spending long nights around the dining table or in the cosy sitting room; catching up and playing board games. Everyone of every age will be very happy here (including the dogs!).
