The Captain's House

The house is in a fantastic location - sea views from practically every window and directly on the South West Coast Path. It was easily big enough to fit four adults and four kids without feeling on top of each other. The hot tub is a great touch and very easy to use. We stayed in late October/early November and the house was warm and cosy throughout. Highly recommend.

Captains House Penzance, is a beautifully located old house. We have just had an amazing week staying here. The kitchen is well equipped, there is an huge conservatory running with width of the house, with absolutely fabulous views. We had wild Cornish weather for some of the days, it was so cozy sitting in there drinking coffee and eating cake, it was also lovely using the hot tub in the wild weather. Cherry on the top WAITROSE deliver to here😀

This amazing house is situated on a spectacular headland with far reaching views. It's beautifully furnished with stylish kitchen and huge four poster bed. The sun lounge is a wonderful addition with views towards the sea. Added bonus is the South West Coast Path close by for walkers. Highly recommended

The Captain's House is the perfect retreat from busy life. We spent one week in Dec enjoying the breath-taking scenery. Blustery winter walks combined with total relaxation at the house were the perfect antidote to the usual 9-5. The house is superbly equipped: lazy-boy armchairs with a commanding view of the sea and coast, wood-fired hot tub, excellent kitchen and wonderful comfy rooms. Pendeen is the perfect balance of isolated but convenient (pub, shops, etc.) and it's easy to get to nearby popular spots. Stay at the Captain's House and live your best Poldark life - you won't regret it!

What an amazing cottage on top of a cliff, with the most stunning views!! It was the best cottage during our holiday and we stayed in many… We regretted we had only booked for 3 days, we could have stayed here for weeks! The cottage has everything you need for a perfect holiday, its like your own home, it feels so cosy right away. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and the conservatory with super chairs to relax and sit back and watch the beautiful scenery is everything you wish for, you actually don’t want to leave the house. But there is also so much to see and do nearby.

As soon as I arrived at The Captain's House I felt peaceful and calm. I was drawn to the recliners in the conservatory and could have sat there for hours taking in the view. The house feels like a home from home, not a show room and I think anyone would be very comfy staying here.
