The Experience
The perfect place to unwind after a long walk, a potter around the seafront shops of St Mawes or the ferry journey from nearby Falmouth. In winter there’s a cracking open fire, a good wine list and comfy sofas; in summer the sun terrace is a grand spot for sipping something cool while you watch the world go by. Menus are extensive: pub classics, some with an alluring twist or Mediterranean influence, all as seasonal and local as possible.
The lounge is super cosy and with its high ceilings feels very spacious. Here you can read a book, look at maps for your next adventure or get on with some work. Bedrooms have a country-house feel, unique artworks and super baths or showers, plus spoiling dry robes for after your swim, tote bags for shopping and a tea tray with biscuits – if you bring your dog they get a bag of goodies too.
Wake to scrumptious breakfasts with veggie and vegan options, served on the terrace or in the dining room.
