The Experience

Let yourself into this airy cottage and feel immediately at peace. You’re in a tiny hamlet with views of trees and the creek beyond (where you can paddle or wild swim). At the top of the lane you can walk straight into a woodland for walks and trails; you’re close to Falmouth and the stunning wilder north coast at Porthtowan.

Bedrooms are downstairs; the master opens onto a terrace and has a sparkling ensuite with a freestanding tub (plus underfloor heating) – glorious for a soak after a jam-packed day out. There’s a cot, highchair and stair gate so you’re kitted out if you come with little ones too. Head upstairs to the open-plan living space; cosy up in front of the fire, curl up in the window seat and watch the chef at work.

There are two local pubs to walk to – The Royal Oak and The Norway Inn – plus the well-loved Pandora Inn and its pontoon within 3 miles. This is central Cornwall so you can strike out in all directions.

Reviews

We had an amazing stay at Malmo and thoroughly recommend a stay here. It’s so beautifully done and has great facilities. A great location for access to both south and north Cornwall. We will definitely return!

Sarah, Twickenham

We were blown away with Malmo in Cornwall. Wonderful location and beautiful house. It’s also kitted out so well, they’ve really thought about everything you could need and not scrimped on quality. Lovely touches throughout. We had the most wonderful week. And with a toddler and pre-teen, it’s not often that life feels easy but this was truly a holiday that was easy. THANK YOU. We really needed it.

Joanna, Farnham

This Cottage is the perfect place to unwind at the end of a day spent on one of the beaches in this area of Cornwall. The other coastline is only half an hour away which makes this a perfect base. You can easily explore the stunning Roseland Peninsula via the King Harry Ferry which is only about 10 minutes away. The decor is light and airy with special well thought out touches. Curl up on one of the window seats and browse through the beautiful books or plan where to visit the next day with the helpful guide books. Will definitely go back!

Lynne, Great Dunmow

Malmo Is a delightful well appointed piano nobile property overlooking woodland in a secure environ. The house supremely placed with easy access to the ‘jewel’ gardens of Cornwall and the Roseland peninsular. There are many places nearby to eat and excite.

Elizabeth, Stamford

My friend and I stayed in Malmo twice recently, firstly for a week in November 2021, then in March 2022. We were visiting Cornwall for yoga training both times. Malmo is a fantastic house and in a delightful, peaceful location for exploring Cornwall. The house is very roomy and extremely comfortable. Layout wise, the bedrooms and bathrooms are downstairs and the stunning open plan living area and kitchen upstairs. The decor is Scandi chic and is very artfully designed and furnished. It feels luxurious, safe & stylish and designed with great care and attention. Extremely charming owners too!

Sally, Glasgow

The open plan living space is a dream, and feels so bright, calming and airy with the huge double height beamed ceiling - it's a fabulous place to get everyone together. The nearby creek is perfect for a wild swim dip, and the best of Cornwall is on your doorstep.

Ellen, Sawday's Inspector

The property was stunning, very stylish but homely and comfortable as well. It's in a great location with so much to see and do on the North and South Cornwall coast. We all really enjoyed our stay there and would go again in a heartbeat!
