The Experience

The team look after you with much aplomb. Whether you stay in the main house or one of the chalets, you’ll be very comfortable. Wake to a breakfast of Hobbs House bread, local pastries and homegrown fruit. They aim to use as much local produce as possible and grow all they can on their 8 acres of vegetable garden, poly-tunnels and orchard.

They are one of the Cotswold’s only brew pubs and produce their own craft beers (Knockdown Brewery), jams and chutneys (Holford Glutton) and cider from apples grown here (Sherston Cider Company). Tents and camper vans can be booked in from April to October, there’s an outside bar, stage for live events and a fire pit. Nearby Westonbirt run Forest Live concerts in June.

Come and get married in the lovely wedding barn – you don’t even need to worry about the weather, or book in for one of their famous Sunday roasts from rare breed meats. It’s a fun and lively place to stay.
