- Having a cream tea in the garden on long summer afternoons, watching the ducks idling by in the stream
- Exploring the village, visiting the Tythe Barn and the Fox Talbot Museum of Photography
You should know
- The building is ancient with twists, turns, narrow stairs and wobbly corridors
- There isn't a car park but you can park on the street outside (not the residents end) or in the Red Lion car park up the road
- Dogs are charged at £15 per stay
Always a pleasure to visit Lacock and The Sign of the Angel. It's a very special place for history lovers and anybody with an interest in architecture. Also a comfortable place to stay with good walking footpaths from the village and a lovely garden to sit out in - perhaps with some scones and clotted cream. You can bring your dog too!
